Winnipeg Phoenix FC follows and maintains the Canada Soccer club licensing requirements under the Standards of Quality Soccer (SQS) and includes area community clubs wishing to offer youth soccer programs in the North East area of the City of Winnipeg, to participate under the Phoenix SQS license. Our goal is to create a consistent program across the entire district, including fees, and improve the overall quality of the soccer programs.
If you live in the East End Community Club catchment area, you must register directly with the community club. Please see their website for more information: Soccer | Transcona East End C.C. (eastendarena.ca).
You must live in the Phoenix Area to register (Elmwood, East Kildonian, North Kildonian or Transcona) If you are unsure of where to register, please contact jennifer@phoenixsoccer.ca.
Please review all the information, the link to the registration form is at the bottom of the page
Players in the U9 (born in 2015) - U18 (born in 2006) age groups looking to register for outdoor soccer will do so via the Central Registration Portal.
After registration, the teams will be created. Teams are usually a combination of players from several clubs playing out of a host club. Your child MAY be placed on a team hosted by any of the clubs in the district. There is always a possibility that to form teams, players of different ages may be combined and the nights of play can be subject to change. We do our best to avoid doing so, but it is a possibility.
A team representative will contact you approximately two weeks before the start of the season, which is usually at the beginning of May (weather dependent).
If you haven’t been contacted by a team representative by April 23, please contact Winnipeg Phoenix FC by e-mailing jennifer@phoenixsoccer.ca (boys) or shawn@phoenixsoccer.ca (girls) to find out where you are playing.
U9-U12 $230.00 plus MSA fee
U13-U18 $250.00 plus MSA fee
The MSA is adding a $1.10 credit card processing fee to the MSA fee for a total of $51.10
The schedule should be available on Friday, April 19th, 2024. Teams will usually play two matches per week.
Please remember soccer is a TEAM sport. Each player is a valuable member and contributes to the team and to the development and enjoyment of each other player on the team. By signing up for soccer you have committed to be part of a team. Attending practices and games for the team should be a priority.
The Recreational Soccer Program relies on volunteer coaches to provide the opportunity for your child to participate in the program. Without these coaches there is no program. Not only will you be contributing to your child's development, you will be supporting the community too. Be part of this rewarding experience! If you are willing to volunteer to coach please complete the appropriate section on your child's registration with the necessary information or contact Winnipeg Phoenix FC by e-mailing jennifer@phoenixsoccer.ca
To ensure the safety of all participants and comply with Canada Soccer's SQS program coaches must be willing to complete the following, for which all fees will be reimbursed to the coach upon successful completion:
Note: Criminal Record Checks and Child Abuse Registry Checks must be submitted prior to the start of the season. All coaching certification requirements except the on-field portion must be completed before the season.
