Futsal 2024
We are happy to have Coach Anderson Pereira lead our Futsal program.
Coach Anderson will be running our Futsal program with his expertise along with his coaches and ours.
Here is some background on Coach Anderson Pereira
I have Played futsal from a young age back home in Brazil. Futsal sets a core fundamentals for creativity, working in tight spaces and fast decision making and has been found to translate well also for futebol players.
During my college experience time in Canada, I have had the opportunity to attain a MCAC Futsal Championship in 2017 and was selected MVP of the competition playing for Red River College.
I was selected for an ID Camp with the Canadian National Futsal Team in 2018 where I trained under the national coach and was introduced to tactics from a national level
I currently own, coach and play for Pioneers FC, the only exclusive Futsal Team in Manitoba. We won the Provincial Futsal League the last 6 years in a row and placed 3rd at the last Canadian Futsal Championship in 2024.
In addition, I have coached the Canadian Mennonite University Soccer and Futsal Team for the past 7 years where I achieved repeat coaching recognition titles such as MCAC coach of the year and 2 championships..
I have a CSA Introduction to Futsal Course and a UEFA C Futsal license taken in Portugal in 2024 as part of a partnership between CSA, Canada Futsal and the Portuguese Federation.
I am passionate about Futsal, I look forward to growing the game here in Canada and believe I have both playing and coaching experience to connect on a greater level.
